These are exact US manufacturer package identities. DWS520 is the corded 12-amp family, DCS520 is 60V MAX FLEXVOLT and DCS525 is 20V MAX XR (18V nominal). International voltage labels and region-specific packages must not be mixed into a US offer. Only DWS520K has an exact retained Amazon record.
Read the model number before the promotion
DWS520 identifies the corded TrackSaw family. DCS520 is the 60V MAX FLEXVOLT family. DCS525 is a separately listed 20V XR track saw. A change in one digit can therefore represent a different power-system decision, rather than a small accessory variation.
When a seller groups products into one page, confirm the selected variation at every stage. A cordless title with pictures of another model is a reason to inspect the contents more closely. Separate FLEXVOLT ownership from general DEWALT ownership

DCS525 creates a different 20V XR comparison

A buyer considering DCS525 should confirm its own battery recommendations, rail accessories and operating instructions. Do not copy a DCS520 specification into a comparison because the blade-size class is similar. Likewise, assess manufacturer performance claims with their conditions intact instead of converting them into an unconditional accuracy or runtime promise.
Capacity and rail compatibility must stay model-specific
DEWALT explicitly lists guided depths of 54mm at 90 degrees and 41mm at 45 degrees for DWS520 and DCS520. Retain those angles and on-track qualifications when comparing another saw. They should not be transferred to DCS525 without its own evidence.
For an existing rail collection, establish exact supported compatibility before assigning it a financial value in the purchase. A saw fitting over an extrusion is not sufficient evidence that all functional features work as intended.
